Join Manna Institute

Manna Institute is keen to expand its reach and influence, and warmly welcomes new researchers to engage with us. Only by truly representing the diversity of rural and regional Australia can we develop targeted and sustainable mental health solutions.

Our collective efforts are focussed on fostering meaningful research, professional workforce development, and translating research findings into practical, place-based programs.

Our research teams comprise individuals who live and work in rural, regional and remote Australia; people who understand the lie of the land, the unique challenges these populations face and the power of collaboration.

Apply today via our Research Affiliate EOI link to join our supportive Manna network, enjoy new professional pathways and contribute to potentially life-changing, place-based, community-informed research.

Community perspective

Over the past two years we have established an extensive network of senior, mid-career, early career and PhD researchers, industry partners and expanding community perspectives reference panels through our First Nations and Lived/Living Experience advisory groups. We are keen to connect with those who share this commitment and join this network of people and organisations with an interest in advancing rural mental health research.

If this is something that interests you, complete the EOI information below and return to mannainstitute@une.edu.au. If you are an HDR student researching a topic related to regional mental health we would love to have you join our HDR CoP.
